Vignobles JANOUEIX

The Joseph Janoueix estate, a family business. Jean Janouex, born in Combressole (Corrèze) in 1867, decided to engage in the wine business at the end of the 19th century. He managed to build a substantial customer base thanks to the quality of his products. His son, Joseph, acquired the Château Haut Sarpe, a Grand Cru in Saint Emilion, as well as the Châteaux La Croix and La Croix St Georges in Pomerol, three most remarkable vineyards producing exquisite wines. His grand-son, Jean-François, alwaus keen to improve quality, took over from his father and jazzed up distribution to reach an international customer base.He owns the Châteaux Castelot in Saint-Emilion and La Croix Toulifaut in Pomerol, both organic certified.
The fourth generation remains united and also owns vineyards, pursuing high standards in order to get the best from each terroir and bring happiness to their customuers.
